Long overdue...

Apologies for the lack of blogging, I've had a lot on, we are in our new house now, we spent Christmas here and it was lovely, the main rooms are pretty much finished we still have decor and bits to do but it will all come in time, I can't wait til the day we get a dining room table, I've managed to master the art of tv dining pretty well though.

So as well as Christmas happening since I last blogged, where I was truely spoilt by my soulmate, I got some gorgeous things and had an amazing day, the hardest part was been not being able to see my Mom this year, which I was gutted about but we will spend Christmas together again one day. We have also had the sales, and this year Topshop was on top form with bargain after bargain, mark down after markdown and new lines added so much I found it really hard to resist!

I received this gorgeous gold french ornate jewellery box for Christmas, one of my favourite gifts ever

The Christmas dinner feast, or main event as I like to call it.

This to die for Tiffany infinity ring which has led me to wearing lots of silver jewellery right now.

This is probably my most favourite photo ever, 2013 was most definitely the happiest year of my life.  2014 will be even better, I witness 2 of my best friends get married, I am going to Glastonbury, I get to spend so many more happy times in our new home and fingers crossed me and Ben will get a holiday, hoping to pass my driving test too as well as wearing more tailoring!

I mentioned the sales were on top form, here are some of my bargains

The white tassel dress, I can't wait for summer to rock this with a tan, feather earrings and copious rings.

I got this awesome Karl sweatshirt from net-a-porter I will sit inside wearing it reading my Karl Lagerfeld book one day soon!

These Topshop blue suede boots are irresistible in real life, the blue is electric and adds a colour pop to any outfit, obviously one of my favourites despite how flat they are -please note these boots do have a 1 inch block heel but due to being a women in heels anything below 2 inches I consider a flat.

Peace, love and happy bargain hunting

September is here, why is it still warm?

I have major love for a statement earring and I received these last week, thanks to the lovely Ruthlet, super cute gold initial S letters -I plan to have my hair up in a high top knot and really show off these beauties!

It is now September, almost LFW and the sun is still bloody shining....114 days until Christmas I'm not wanting rain or snow but just some colder weather so I can wear my autumn Garms and crack a coat back out! I love a winter coat, hell I love a jacket sort it out weather bitch 14 degrees would be ideal ta.

I bought this little fluffy pink beauty today, totally channelling my inner 90s love Cher, you know the spoilt brat off clueless with what I considered at the time the most amazing wardrobe.

I found this pink fluffy jumper just hanging in Primark -yes you heard correctly effin Primark As if!! It was a bargain £10 similar to the Topshop ones and an absolute treat to touch its so soft! As much as I would love to wear with a black and white tartan skirt and knee socks I'm far too old and that look is far too prissy for me instead I plan to toughen up this cutie with a leather skirt and my new to die for boots! Weather permitting if it's not too hot, because nobody wants to sweat in leather I would like to wear this outfit soon.

Outfit -pink fluffy sweater -Primark £10 (current)
Boots - Topshop, Argo £92 (current)
Leather look pleated skirt -last season Topshop sale
Necklace -last season Topshop

These boots are literally one of my favourite things right now, super comfy and designer looking they are 100% worth the high Topshop price point -I mean you can get a coat and jeans in there for the same price right now but these babies are beyond! 100% winter faves!

Peace, love and Primark bargains

There was an old lady who lived in her shoes....

Shoe obsessed and can't shake it off...this week with warnings of snow fall and in honour of my New Year resolution to learn to drive I set off to topshop in search of some flats, well less than 6 inches - a Sophs flat if you will which is what most describe as mid height and what the heel less describe as high.

I've coverted Balenciaga flats ever since I saw a picture of Mary-Kate wearing them last year, unable to afford Balenciaga I saw the Coltranes -Jeffery Campbell bought out, you know the ones they are on practically every blog and all over insta, the buckles are insane and they have the biker feel that insanely transforms any outfit from zero to grunge they toughen up girly dresses and fabrics, the Coltrane comes in flatforms for us shorties so we can add extra height, one of my beautiful friends even posted a pic of her new bad boys in white which are just beyond....then Topshop bought out the AJ a nod in all the right directions to The Campbell's and the Balenciaga's and as a fan of heels a cheaper version that I thought maybe I could maybe just get away with...

.....WRONG I cannot pull off the flat or anything low at all....short and dumpy straight away and just immediately look wrong, I stood in Topshop the Leeds store which has a shoe department bigger than most small stores and tried on practically every winter to spring shoeboot flat and heeled, torn and indecisive wishing I could pull off a flat shoe so people don't always assume my feet hurt -which FYI they don't -I have a low pain thresh hold and don't enjoy painful footwear..I gave up in the end, sod it these gladiator cutout heeled boots have been on my radar for about a month and as soon as I tried one on i knew it -these are my new day shoes -the perfect shoe for me, comfy, leg lengthening, not too much foot out and a gold buckle finish...practically perfect in every way. Thank you Topshop once again my shoe needs have been fulfilled.

Go high or go home
Peace, love and heels for life

Factory girl

Too much love for the litas, but hit the Topshop sales too and grabbed this gorgeous bargain dress from the boutique range for £20! Easy to chuck on obviously I love a baggy tee so perfect for me as just so comfy! Love this look, borrowed my best friends bowler hat, feel like a factory girl, mod, beetles fan...but love it especially with my new addiction bug eyed sunnies, definetly feel like a John Lennon tribute
Teamed with Chanel I think this is one of my favourite summer looks yet.

Peace, love and bug eyed sunnies

The best damn lita I ever did see

Casually browsing instagram as I do like a zillion times a day and my eyes meet these. The quilted spiked toe cap lita!!!! These are even more fierce than my beloved spiked heeled litas not only are they gold spikes but these litas are quilted....yes quilted, now my love of quilted things started from Coco Chanel herself but now Jeffrey has made the perfect quilted and spiked combination......I need to own these bad boys at some point!

I bought the red lita yesterday just the plain with wooden heel, office sale meant they were too good a price to pass....my lita obsession is fast going to become the only footwear I wear...thank god they are so comfy!!!

Lita I love you
