L O V E

Love is in the air.
All you need is love.
What is love?

Valentine's day is fast approaching, every month we have some sort of celebration a few weeks back it was Chinese New Year, yes we all got a Chinese to celebrate, soon it will be pancake day, I've already booked it off work, even though we can eat pancakes any day, we love to join in and get involved and Valentine's is no different.  For those single people just remember you are single every other day too, and one day someone is going to hug you so tight, that all of your broken pieces stick back together and that right there, that moment is true love.

I like to wear red on Valentine's, there is a banging red suit I'm coverting in Topshop sale right now, £45 for the jacket and trousers and the fit is amaze.

But I think I will stick with one of my favourite purchases from 2013, the love heart print blouse I got from Topshop. Now if you have seen me between November and now I will no doubt have had this blouse on I am totally smitten by it and feel that once washed and ironed this will be on my back Friday

Love heart jewellery is all over the high street right now, you can pick up rings, necklaces the lot, but I love this old mikey beast, remember mikey jewellery it was so good, I bought this years ago because I thought the old lady had dropped it into the ocean at the end. Obviously a red lip is needed on Valentine's -Mac ladydanger is my favourite red.

Obsessing with heart shapes? Why not make yourself and loved one a heart shaped pizza, I bought a packet base and just added water rolled out cut into a heart and topped with goats cheese and caramelised onions and it tasted amazing, it was so easy and quick to make too.

Stuck for gift ideas? I could always whip you up a plate with a love quote on, you can make the breakfast on it though.

Peace, love and lots of it

Factory girl

Too much love for the litas, but hit the Topshop sales too and grabbed this gorgeous bargain dress from the boutique range for £20! Easy to chuck on obviously I love a baggy tee so perfect for me as just so comfy! Love this look, borrowed my best friends bowler hat, feel like a factory girl, mod, beetles fan...but love it especially with my new addiction bug eyed sunnies, definetly feel like a John Lennon tribute
Teamed with Chanel I think this is one of my favourite summer looks yet.

Peace, love and bug eyed sunnies

The best damn lita I ever did see

Casually browsing instagram as I do like a zillion times a day and my eyes meet these. The quilted spiked toe cap lita!!!! These are even more fierce than my beloved spiked heeled litas not only are they gold spikes but these litas are quilted....yes quilted, now my love of quilted things started from Coco Chanel herself but now Jeffrey has made the perfect quilted and spiked combination......I need to own these bad boys at some point!

I bought the red lita yesterday just the plain with wooden heel, office sale meant they were too good a price to pass....my lita obsession is fast going to become the only footwear I wear...thank god they are so comfy!!!

Lita I love you

Lady in Red

For years I have wanted a red dress, now not a dress but you can imagine my excitement when I saw this goreous jumpsuit in Topshop marked down from £85 to £30, the minute I saw I had my heart set on this outfit for New Years Eve I styled it up with Chanel clip on earrings and my goreous Topshop Luxe shoes with velvet quilting and studds and loved my look.......up until we were in the first bar and the zipper got caught after I had been to the toilet, it wouldn't go up it wouldn't go down, panic struck I was stuck...for the rest of the night and it was only 9.25pm I had to make it til midnight without going to the toilet, so minimum drinks for me! It was awful worse thing ever, luckily the sleeve detail meant the stuck zipper was hidden so it wasn't noticable but the fact that I was home earlier than I'd have liked to be and had to be cut out of it meant it put a downer on my night, most of all though I am gutted I can't wear it again, I was hoping to rock with a 70s inspired headband in the summer but it is completely ruined now....So I was lady in red for one night only and the search for the perfect red outfit is still on....... Happy New Year Everyone hope your outfits were better than mine Peace, love & happiness throughout 2012 Sophs xoxo
