Things are starting to get scary...

I love halloween fancy dress, Friday I went out as a magician, I used giant cards and a light up bunny on a top hat -I got both from urban outfitters and teamed it with items I already had - and an amazing tassel topshop top I borrowed off my flat mate -perfect! I did my own make up -two faced skeleton style

And tonight it is round 2, now I've had today off so started getting ready now, whoa, whoa is that the sound of the police! I am going to be a dead cop -who's eyes got shot out in a shoot out -I believe halloween should be about blood, guts and gore not mean girls style with lingerie and animal ears -you can look sexy with lots of blood -I think so anyway plus I've had lots of fun doing my halloween make up -it's making me wish I worked for MAC -I'd make a good make up artist plus I'd fit in we'll dressed in all black!

Peace, love and trick or treats

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Less than 65 to go (SORRY) and I have already watched Elf, had nothing better to do on Friday night a week before payday...don't feel sorry for me I clearly spend all my money on clothes and fashion so sometimes a DVD and beans on toast tea is exciting as it gets. Anyway it got me into the spirit of thinking about what I want for Christmas...I have been searching forever for a cute vintage looking Vinyl player, mostly getting outbid on eBay or them been collection only and being somewhere really random like Southhampton yeah can't travel down there too easily haha so I think I will have to cave and get a Crosley, don't get me wrong they are not horrible and I would be very greatful of one I love that you can convert songs to USB and that they are more reliable it would just be super cool to play vintage vinyl (I say vintage my Mum has some treats I fingers crossed can't wait to get my hands on - there are some classics) on a vintage vinyl player but this looks to be top of my list. Crosley Record Player £140, Urban Outfitters (instore & online)
Other than that I am not really sure what Christmas will bring...fingers crossed for some more Stella perfume -the original -not Lily as nice as it is nothing compares to Stella -it is my absolute favourite smell in the world. It would also be nice to have some good make up again some YSL treats, Chanel or even Mac, I have kept on top of Lippy etc but am getting fed up of using Rimmel foundation now! If anyone else is wanting to purchase a gift and is unsure anything from Topshop will go down a treat, or Chanel naturally, but I am still on the hunt for a red handbag, Balenciaga or Alexander Wang would finish off most outfits incredibly....anyway a girl can keep dreaming....but fingers crossed for a Vinyl player, I can feel the retro beats already! Peace, love & Christmas wishes Sophs xoxo

Finally purchasing a new winter coat...

So after copious amounts of time wearing the leopard print fur I am beginning to resent it, it's toasty but too done right now, I mean Toppers have not even bought it out AGAIN this year but Asos have, I love it and won't be eBaying as there are times I will want to wear it but I need a new daily coat. Last year the fur collar boyfriend beauty touched down to Topshop, I fell in love but regretfully didn't buy it, they did a gorgeous burnt orange with brownish fun collar that was amaze..a few lucky people I know smacked it up and it still looks effortless and amazing....I have searched for it on eBay and it is currently selling -with bids, not buy it now for £249 -RIDIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was only £110 brand new!!! They also did the same coat last year in a grey with black fur and just my luck a super similar one is out again this year! This time I am owning it, I need it, I need the fur collar to keep me toasty whilst I wait at 11pm when I finish a late night for my first of 2 trams...it's perfet and it is what I shall be spending my money on this Friday when I get paid! I am too excited to finally own this beauty I know it will be a coat I love for years!
Peace love and winter coats Sophs xoxo

Tricked and treated

I am finding myself dressing somewhat halloween themed recently -outfits I put together seem to be inspired by The Craft or other halloween outfits -totally turning gothic glam and I think I like it -perfect for the month of October.

Skeleton tees, bandage tights, witchy maxis, mesh sleeves, statement jewellery, skulls and leather are all statements for this time of year and Topshop is doing the best high street halloween inspired outfits right now, feeling skinted though think I have had a few too many treats right now!

My topshop '06 moons and stars jumper has also been cracked back out of hibernation right now -this could possibly be one of my most favourite topshop items, it's so toasty and such a statement -firm favourite.

After a few years I am still coveting the Alexander Rocco bag and I couldn't help but wonder how amazing it would be with some of these items.

Peace, love and happy halloween

It didn't take long...

Obsessed with the stunner shoes and losing sleep through needing them it had to be done, sold out already in my size instore I ordered them the other day, sold some old topshop shoes and a faux leather jacket in order to afford them but it is so so worth it!
They came this morning right on q for me to take them on their first outing, only to work but they are amaze, so so comfy and so so worth every penny!
Love them maybe more than litas
Peace love and new shoes always

Friday 5 October 2012

It's been far too long since I've blogged

Apologies for my lack of blogging -I did not realise quite how much has happened and since I last blogged cowboy boots are back in stores...no joke a key trend for aw12 that I don't think I'm too pleased about, prove me wrong but I think it's an item best reserved for fancy dress only.

So since my last posts I've been on holiday FINALLY!!! Now not your typical girls holiday as our resort hasn't been lively for at least 10 years but it was so nice to get some sunshine and chill out and relax for a week forgetting about the rest of the world, of course I missed wifi I spend far too much time on twitter and Instagram @ladysophs

It's October already this means the best winter coats have already gone, holding out for a gorgeous Topshop boyfriend fit one with faux fur collar just need some extra money, currently some loved items are listed on eBay on hope of making the £110 I need.

In other news I've had my fringe cut back in -a winter must and I love it as much as the first time I got a fringe if not more.

Also I am excited to be getting tickets for Glastonbury - fingers crossed! I need to experience a festival and Glasto is my number one choice 9am Sunday will be hopefully my chance to secure my ticket -I'm already looking forward to wearing denim shorts, fringing and wellies!

This year I have learnt that going on holiday at the end of summer not only means you don't get to show off your tan but also I was so preoccupied with holiday clothes my winter wardrobe is fiercely lacking -seriously! I purchased a couple of bits but I need more at the minute my wardrobes looking bare. I'm not inspired by the clothes at the minute I keep finding shoes which I need to stop buying, especially as they are not cheap -yes Jeffrey Campbell and Topshop I mean you -while you keep making such good shoes my clothing wardrobe is lacking!!!

How long will it be until I cave and buy these topshop STUNNERS???
And yes I need them they are the most perfect everyday shoe!

I already, finally on payday last week got the Cheap Monday patent ankle strapped wedge boots I've been lusting after for like 2 months, practically everyday! Although I've not worn them with the ankle strap yet as I feel you need a bare leg to do them justice and it's just too cold at the moment but I've worn them a couple of times as a day shoe and they are super comfy and I like the tackiness of them when worn with a casualish outfit!

I ordered a camo vest from Urban Outfitters online, it came today, it's being returned tomorrow -why I ordered it I don't know I am clearly over camo it's clearly died its death along with Boy London (sorry Jordan) and I am being sensible and putting this money in my coat fund -yes I'm saving for something -purely because I cannot stand to freeze like I did tonight waiting for the bus no matter how many more calories it burns! A leather jacket and Mongolian fur scarf is not sufficient winter weather attire for someone who gets nesh like me. Now I could dig out one of the coats I own but I can't bare to crack out the beloved toppers leopard fur as I will get too attached to the toastyness again and my Zara cape coat is too annoying when you have a handba! Urgh nothing is ever easy!

Anyway starting to ramble, but I shall try and blog more frequently
Peace, love and always shoe shopping
